This past week included a lovely day trip to Washington DC. I always enjoy going in to Washington. There is so much to see but unlike other cities it is not too built up. The day included visits to the national zoo,(seeing animals in cages makes me sad but they take good care of the animals at the zoo and there is plenty to see) the natural history museum, the american history museum and the portrait gallery. As well as various other DC attractions including the lincoln monument, reflective pool and WW2 memorial.
So much to see and nicer still is that almost everything is free! The only costs of the day were subway passes and lunch at a very delicious and lovely place in china town.
Overall it was a full and fullfilling day which ended beautifully with a colourful sunset.
God Bless.
Note: The dates stamped on my photos is wrong. they were in fact taken earlier this week. (I am electronically challenged and can not figure out how to change this)
